     We hope you had a wonderful holiday and wish you the best in this New Year. As we recover from the holiday chaos and winter colds we want to remind you that it's time to kick off the 8th annual Discover America Through Postcards Photo Contest. But we're a little behind schedule so the first finalist postcard will be sent a week late on January 18th, instead of January 11th. That means you have an extra week to submit your photos. So get your entries in now. Remember, all six finalists receive an autographed copy of the companion book, Discover America Diaries. The grand prize winner, announced on the Ides of March, receives the book and a hundred dollars.
