William Trent House, Trenton NJ

In 1690 Scottish-born William Trent came to this quiet area, then called "The Falls" and turned it into a thriving village, renamed "Trent Town" in 1719. Today, his house shows how a wealthy merchant, servants and slaves lived in pre-Revolutionary days.
