Mendocino National Forest, CA

Early fall in one of the foothills of California's Coastal Mountain Range shows a landscape that seems as if painted on canvas. Mendocino National Forest's nearly one million acres attract wildlife that roams freely. At times, baby bear will tumble across the hills, or families of deer will gather with little ones in tow, unconcerned by the faraway modern world.
